SOURCE: Electric furnace blows cold air before and after warm air.

It is normal. Your house has to go down a couple more degrees because the heat pump is not working. You can solve this by rewirng you thermostat. Take off the wire that goes to Y and tape off. Then take the wires that are marked w and e or w1 and put the wires to yellow. Do not run ac with it wired like this. If you need more information please post me back

SOURCE: Gas furnace is constantly blowing cold air

An indoor blower running when it is not supposed to usually indicates an overheat condition. I would guess that it has been cycling on and off for some time and finally caused the high limit to stick and not auto reset. if you tap it sometimes they reset. the real problem is that it has been overheating from lack of airflow, over sized unit, not enough return air, too many closed registers, dirty filter, dirty squirrel cage blower and or air conditioner a-coil. If you get it started again sit and watch the unit run the flames should come on and stay on for the entire heating cycle, not going on and off.
I wish I could help you more but it is difficult without seeing the problem myself. Good luck! this should get you started!

My furnace works on ac and blows on ac but on heat it does not blow but i hear a humming sound coming from the furnace

Most furnace operating on Oil or gas will heat the combustion chamber before starting fan to prevent cold air draft at start-up, can last a minute or two. Eiter the main flame does not come on or the chamber thermostat have fail. Try to modify fan option on room thermostat from auto to on. Cold air coming out: burner problem or no more oil or gas, warm air: burning chamber thermostat problem, leave room thermostat fan option to on until repair.

What's your problem? I have a Airtron furnace/air cond unit and last night I smelled a odor that of something electrical burning. I also noticed that the heating unit stayed on and continued to blow...

I'm willing to bet a relay burned up. You likely have your tstat set to auto changeover, meaning it automatically goes from heat to cool to maintain desired set points??

Replaced Bryant T-stat model TSTATBBNB001 with Honeywell t-stat

Your original wiring configuration seems to indicate that you have an air conditioner (not heat pump) and either a gas or electric furnace. If this is the case you may need a different thermostat for your application.

Coleman forced air furnace

im assuming you are running a/c and not heat...Was the filter burning??  if not and there are no other obvious burnt wires then id say you need a new motor. The filter, if it was'nt binding the blower wheel or wrapped arround the motor shaft would not have caused the prob.
