SOURCE: changing htc s620 language from spanish to english

Alright... I am going to do my best here to provide non-language navigation.

If the screen is locked you will get:
Little response to buttons (Except Left Soft-Key, used with Z or * to unlock)
Just a clock on the screen with words above and below
Grey/dark screen brightness.

Providing the screen is unlocked:

Left Soft-Key (White bar above House)
2nd row last icon (Folder with gear)
7 Key
5 Key
Center Navigation button.
Select Language.
Left Soft-Key

These instructions should blindly take you to the language selection for languages that your ROM supports.

For other languages, a ROM Flash would be required, which is nearing outside of the scope of this site.

Please let me know if their are any other questions. If this information was helpful, please take a moment to rate.

How do i change language from spanish to english

This question is a bit broad, if you are looking to change the language that the keyboard types in you would go to "start" > "Control Panel" > (From this point the option itself may vary in exact name depending on your operating system) "Change Keyboard / Region Settings"

If you go under region / language you should be able to set everything to english. If however you purchased the computer in a spanish region and spanish is the primary language on the computer, you may have to upgrade your operating system to the "Ultimate" version of whatever windows you may have. From there you can install the language pack that will reset the computer to english.

How do you change English to Spanish on a Windows 7 computer...welcome screen & everything in Spanish...is it possible?

It depends a bit on your installation but you should be able to do this. First install the language if you need to. (Win7 Ultimate and Enterprise allow for Multiuser User Interface Pack; All other versions use Language Interface Pack and you must install the Parent language. Microsoft.com and search for the appropriate pack.) The LIP doesn't translate everything. Then in the Control Panel, click Clock, Region and Language. Then click Region and Language, the Keyboard tab will let you change the keyboard language and the Administrative tab will let you change the System Locale. Once you install the additional language, you'll also see a tab for Display Language. Set this to Spanish.
Hot keys are also available for switching on the fly once the language is installed. The Welcome Screen will get a Keyboard Layout button when more than one language is installed to switch languages then. (This can be locked for some users so see the Windows Help to find more information. It's still in the Region and Language section.)

If you only want the Spanish, consider reinstalling the OS with an international (or whatever MS calls it) version of the OS.

I hope this helps.

Spanish

there are not any notebooks that I know of that have actual spanish keyboards.

to get windows in complete spanish, you will need to upgrade to windows ultimate to download the spanish language pack. if you just want to have minimal functions, you can always just use the basic language pack that is part of windows. not everything will be translated into spanish though.

Change language

If your unit is windows Vista, you will need to purchase Vista Ultimate in order to change the language of your operating system. Otherwise, the language is pre-configured by the vendor to display in the language of the country it is distributed in. For example, a laptop purchased in Mexico will most likely come with Windows Vista installed in Spanish. Again, the only way to circumvent that scenario at this time would be to purchase the license of Vista Ultimate to have access to language changing features.

If it is an older operating system, we would need to know which one in order to be able to help you further. Hope that helps.
