SOURCE: serger blades do not cut.
For now, it works only satisfactorily:
I applied alcohol to further clean both blades,
dried and then oiled them. There seemed to be a slight gap between blades;
the fabric was dragged into the gap instead of being cut.

SOURCE: Loose stitches and blade is not cutting
you might need a new blade
try tightening the tension one number at a time and
use a scrap piece of fabric to sew on checking the stiches till they look
normal
