Eleaf iStick trim battery flashes 3 times but no output. Doesn't fire. Possible short circuited. Can it be fixed?

I've tried charging my Eleaf iStick trim but the battery level lights blink 3 times but doesn't fire. Can it be fixed if I changed the atomizer?

It sounds like you simply got a bad atomizer I would change that first though batteries usually last about a year and happy vaping.

the battery is dead. that happened to me and i had 3 choices: 1)buy a new dvd player 2)buy a new recharable battery or 3)keep the portable plugged to the wall while i watch movies. i chose number 3 because i usually just use it at places plugs are available. but yeah, the battery is dead.

SOURCE: laptop won't turn on

I am facing a similar problem with 5160 and my power button will not power up the laptop. I presses the shift key, it got powered up (offcourse only fan started but the screen is black)
Try pressing shift key to power up.

Could be a bad mother board or a hard drive..see if you can connect the hard drive with a USB on another machine and run a test on it...

They can only take so many recharge cycles before they die like my Ryobi cordless drill stuff

Usually batteries are not covered under a warranty, IF they worked in the beginning. It has a lot to do how it was stored in the winter, it could have been your problem and not the batteries.

Take the coil out and clean it with a paper towel or tissue and replace it, this should rectify your problem if not replace the coil

I've a smart UPS 1000VA SU1000INET I've had new batteries fitted. I put on to charge everything seemed ok. Went back to it about 2 hours later to find the 6 middle lights flashing.
Friend you did not tell us if there was correct output voltage after charging and the voltage after 2 hours. However, there could be a short circuit that drains the batteries,was the system left on for the 2 hours, are the batteries of a standard?Good Luck from Ukachi Edwin

If the mobile phone does not switch on, it is called a dead mobile.
It can be due to many reasons
1. Water damage
2. Fall down
3. Not used for a long time ( Mostly battery is down)


(1) Check the Battery. It should show 3.7 volts or as written on the battery.

(2) Check the Battery Connector
Check two things (a) Voltage coming or not (b) shorting
Note : If there is shorting then clean the circuit in ultrasonic cleaner (Remove display, camera, etc before putting it in ultrasonic cleaner )
Clean the circuit with a soft brush and make it dry with a hair dryer or ****er.
If the shorting doesn't go it may be due to shorting in an ic,capacitor or circuit. if shorting is in ic u can check it by attaching a battery then press the on-off switch keep the battery for 10-15 seconds. after that remove the battery and check which ic becomes hot. Reball or replace that ic. If shorting is in circuit it must be removed by ultrasonic cleaner
Note - The circuit is made of three layers. if there is shorting in the middle layer it cannot be removed
(3) Check the On/Off switch & voltage at on-off switch
Note - Connect a charger. If charging is shown on display then the problem is with the on/off switch or software problem

(4) Try flashing the mobile.
