E30 ERROR DISHWASHER

I have a e30 come up on my fisher and Paykel dishwasher how can I fix the problem

You have to turn the power off, clean that cesspool drain area thoroughly, dry all around the door seal, and tip dishwasher backwards. Then the flood switch resets and the E30 error disappeared for me.

E30 is a door locking failure. The unit attempted to lock the door several times without success. First, make sure your door is closed firmly. Check for anything that may be blocking the door latch. Check that the latch is aligned to the door lock. Unplug the unit for 30 minutes to reset the electronics. If the unit still does not lock, please contact Edgestar at 800-297-6076.

Have you got any indication of error codes in the display if not check the child safety lock is not set or the disable of display is not set.I guess you have a manual it gives all the error codes in this.

how many times does it flash there is a pause look for it, there is a tech sheet glued to the lower cover or to the bottom of the tub behind the lower pannel that has the codes discriptions and tests turn off power to it befor removing pannel

U3 means the tub filled to quickly or the water failed to drain. Do you have very high water pressure? are you using the wrong detergent? eg you can't use tablets (powerballs) etc in the unit. Try putting half a cup of white vinegar in the tub to kill any foam. Check there isn't anything stuck under the motor rotor inside the tub and the there's no signs of damage. Put the drain hose in a bucket and see if the water drains ok when the unit starts? If everything seems ok I'd suspect the main motor controller module but it may be worth getting an appliance tech to inspect unit first as it's hard without seeing this unit. feel free to ask any questions. E30 is a motor problem which is most likely brushes need replacing.
