SOURCE: stitch selection does not work

The switch could be bad or the mechanics that physically move the needle for the zig zag could be broken/worn. Hope you get it fixed soon!

SOURCE: I have Singer Futura XL400. When I turn the power switch on, LED lights come on but no motor power. The panel with the stitch lights does not come on and machine will not sew. This is a new machine.

If you just purchased this machine, bring it back to the retailer where it was purchased. If it is a defective machine, they should replace it. If you've had the machine for a while, it may still be under warranty, so take it for service.

SOURCE: Singer Quantum XL-100 Sewing machine can not see the stitch selection, but it lights up

Insert nail file in slot on top of machine and above screens. GENTLY ease wheel Rt or left and screen will come back up.
It's easily overlooked as wheels are tucked in just below surface Done!

How do we fix a repeating touch screen on a Janome 5700. The touch seems to be ok., but the display is not.

You might try recalibrating the screen. Short of that, could be a computer screen component is failing.

Pfaff 6230 Foot Control quit working. Light behind Stitch panel, speed, needle down, & 1 stitch at a time doesn't light up. Are these 2 problems? What do I need besides replacing Foot Control?

Um, it could be no power to your machine, I would suspect it is the power cord, plug or possibly an internal electrical issue. If the foot control failed, the machine's light should still work.

Pfaff 1472 light on control panel is out. It still sews and I can adjust the stitches. just cant see the nmbers. Is it just a light that needs repalced.

If it is a computer screen, then something is malfunctioning or has failed. Unfortunately, it will most likely require a technician to address the issue.

My singer 7444 makes beeping sounds when operated, the machine fails to start.

Ensure that your stitch width and your spacing are set to a green-light setting. Also, ensure that your stitch wheel will operate(It will lock in the case of a jam.), and check to see that the stitch you have selected is compatible with the kit load you have onboard, i.e. for buttonholing, ensure you have the automatic buttonhole foot attached and the buttonhole lever down. In all other stitches, ensure the buttonhole lever is in the full up position.

The 7444 Precision is a "Smart" machine, and will not allow you to attempt a stitch that simply will not work with the wrong stitch spacing and width settings applied. Move the sliders slowly until each one lights up green, or at least does not light up yellow/orange at all.
