Broken door catch on Siemens siwamat 2105 Washing Machine

check for a capacitor on the motor if it has one, replace that to start with, that what it sounds like

is all the water out of the machine if not the door wont open.
if all the water has gone, have a look behind the small flap on the front of the machine where the filter is and there might be a small plastic loop which when pulled should release the door catch.
please note i say might as some models have this feature and some dont.

Ater beeing switched on the machine does not fill with water.

I feel for you because we have exactly the same problem : our door broke, the handle in fact. Everything else works wonder but the screw driver trick is bound to give in one day eventually and we'll be left with no washing machine at all. Has anyone found any infor on the door anywhere? thanks guys
