SOURCE: threading a pfaff creative 7570

Always thread the machine with the presser foot up. This keeps the tension disks open while you are threading. Open the lid on top. Put thread on spool holder. Go directly to your left and down the path on the farthest left. Go all the way to the bottom and bring the thread up on the path closer to the spool. Hook the thread through the metal piece that moves up and down while sewing. It should be in the highest position when threading. Run the thread down and clip into the small metal holder above the needle. Pull down needle threader, draw thread across front of it from left to right and pull through needle.

SOURCE: where to buy another creative blank pfaff 7570 card

I purchased a new Pfaff embroidery machine in 4/2000. A creative blank card came with the machine. The card worked fine. I purchased another blank card- Centennial PCMCIA SRAM Recharge card (bought on internet-site ? can not remember) to use when I started another project before I finished what was on the Pfaff creative card. About 2 years ago the cards( Pfaff & Centennial) couldn't hold a design over night.I tried to recharge the cards-not successful.. Now in April of this year the cards couldn't accept a design at all. In trying to transfer a design from my computer to the embroidery machine-a symbol appeared-- Computer-line connecting with- the sewing machine but no design transferred. A friend's husband suggested Allbrands.com. I bought a new creative card ($69.00) & am waiting for it to arrive. The cards that you buy with designs already on them -the machine can read and I can sew them out. No luck though with the blank cards. Denise

Do you have a diagram of the buttons to click on to get the needle position to change in the Pfaff 1473?

The needle position of the Pfaff Creative 1473 can only be changed for straight stitches. Use the stitch width + button (the top of the pair of buttons in the middle of the row below the LCD display) to move the needle from left to right. The range of positions depends on your stitch choice. There are 19 positions available for stitch programs 01, 03, and 04. There are 17 positions available for program 05 (triple straight stitch). The stitch programs are indicated on page 2 (page 6 of the PDF) of the manual. The use of the stitch width buttons is on page 30 (page 34 of the PDF). See pages 50-53 for additional information. Different symbols will appear in the display to show the needle position (to the left, center or to the right).

The manual is available from Pfaff on the product page: https://www.pfaff.com/en-us/machines/creative-1473 . The current link to the manual is https://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/Creative_1473-manual-EN.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Creative 1371. Turned it on last night. Why couldn't stitch length be adjusted?

Stitch length is controlled by changing feed dog height. Make sure the feed dog selector is completely to the left (B) position. The feed dog mechanism may need cleaned and lubricated. See owners manual.

If electrically it is dead check the fuse. See owners manual

I cannot adjust bottom tension on Pfaff creative 1.5 straight stitch

Hello Mary Jane,
Are there loops on the underside of the stitching? This means that the top tension is too loose -- increase the needle tension.

Are there loops on the topside of the stitching? This means that the top thread is too tight -- decrease the needle tension.

The user manual refers to this on pages 30 and 35. The manual is available free at

http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/creative-line/creative1_5/Manual/creative_1-5_manual_EN.pdf

Please give be a thumbs up if this is helpful, otherwise please provide more information.

How to set 2140 for free motion sewing

Which model are you using? Creative 4.5?, On the newer machines it drops automatically once the embroidery attachment is hooked up. On older Creatives v2.x there is a slide lever in front of the presser foot on the front.

Pfaff 7570 Sewing Slow

Unfortunately, this is most likely a computer board issue and there's just no way to predict if/when a board will go bad.

Your only option at this point is to take it to an authorized Pfaff dealer. If the person who serviced it was an authorized Pfaff tech, take it back to them. If not, do take it to a Pfaff dealer - non-Pfaff authorized techs are not trained on the machines.

Sorry I can't give you a simpler answer, but until this is corrected, your machine won't work properly.

Best,
Kim
