If the washing is unbalanced the machine will either not spin it or seems to spin forever. This is not a fault. Pause the machine - wait for a minute to see if the door will unlock - if it won't cancel the programme and wait another minute. Re balance the load and try again if needed.
here is one trick to do. put the timer on spin and pull out the timer knob. open the lid and use a screw driver to actuate the lid switch. then with your other hand hold the agitator until the tub gets to a high spin. once the unit is at a high spin then let go of the agitator. let the unit spin for another minute then lift up you screw driver. it should come to a gradual stop and not a sudden stop. let me konw if that works.
The transmission in this machine is worn and is not shifting correctly. Understand that after the aggitate cycle, this machine should go into drain cycle without spinning and it should drain for about 1 minute. Then it should kick into spin cycle after it has emptied all the water. What is happening is it is (like skipping) the drain cycle and going directly into spin with water still in it,,, so the spin is slow as it is trying to empty and spin at the same time,,, thus the clothes do not spin out correctly,,, when you reset the spin, you actually spin all the water out the second time around.
Remove the small tube from the water level switch and blow through it to clear any clog in the air dome on the side of the tub. Remove the small tube from the air dome and blow through it into the water level switch to reset it. Then set the machine for spin and run spin cycle for 1 minute. Then try your fill again. If it does not work this time, replace the water level switch.
The pressure tube switch tubing gets clogged on these machines. The best way to repair is remove the 4 torx screws securing the control panel, On the water level switch remove clear tube from switch, with some water in tub, i suck water up and back down the tube, clearing the tube. After tube is clear spin machine for 3 mins. Test water fill again.
