Coils are usually engine specific, the number of bolts does not determine whether or not it will work. If you really want your chainsaw to work correctly - buy the right part. It's a cheaper than a new one! Using the model number you supplied, I found them for under $50, which is about the value of an old 050 Stihl -wow, that's a heavy old saw. Remove the side casing,then remove the spark plug and use a piston block to stop the piston rising while you remobe the clutch, once the clutch is off, the drum, bearing and oil work should be removable,along with the 2 plastic crank coveres. Once all this has been taken off you will have access to the oil pump.
