SOURCE: Dryer won't start, Simpson Eziloader 4kg

On dryers with the old mechanical timers you can turn the knob in either direction without harming the mechanism. On either type, even electronically controlled models with a problem like you described, there are a lot of possibilities. After confirming you have power to the appliance check the thermal safety fuse located on the heater housing.

SOURCE: how to turn on the simpson eziloader dryer

The timer is the "on" switch.
Things that can stop it starting.
Door switch- is the depresser pin contacting.
Broken main belt.

Faulty - motor- timer- door switch- belt switch ( if fitted) wireing.

SOURCE: impson Eziloader 4kg, drum will

I believe there is a capacitor on your motor(7-10 MFD) I would replace this and then ensure that the drum is reversing properly. It is usually just a short 2 to 3 turns, and the "normal" direction is much longer. This is done via a small motorized unit, usually called a "MOTOR TIMER", and the contacts inside it can get a bit burned an pitted if running for a while with a deteriorated start capacitor. If the motor and drum seem OK, but it does not reverse, you might need to change that unit. More expensive dryers might have a timer relay for this, or an electronic timer activating the relay.I hope this helped Tim

SOURCE: Hi I have a Simpson 4kg eziloader dryer that keeps

The heating element uses the most power. Was the home wired by a licensed election ( the dryer plug)? if it was it should have #8 or #10 wire depending on the load. the breaker is sized to the wire (so don't change it). you may have a clogged vent pipe. this will reduce air flow and make the dryer work harder possibly tripping the breaker. You should probably start by making sure you vent is clear and free from debris, debris in the vent could cause a fire.

We have put a new belt and bearing on my 4kg Simpson eziloader dryer and spring is in place it works for a while and then the belt comes off again what could the problem be

I would check the pulley on the motor, and the belt tensioner that the belt winds through. My initial thought is that when installing the belt onto the tensioner it may have been bent. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Dryer won't start, Simpson Eziloader 4kg

Yes, the knobs don't like to be turned counterclockwise. Spin the knob clockwise to reinstall tightly, then move to set a dry time. Make sure half load button is pressed.
