Few things to check. Please keep in mind that these are only suggestions meant to help troubleshoot your problem.
Inside the garage, the cables attaching to the pullies and spring should have nothing blocking it. Make sure that all cables are properly secured around the pullies.
Make sure the track in the center has no objects blocking its movement.
Ensure that if you have just recently replaced the springs that they are properly rated to your door weight.
Most common issue is that people keep their trashcans at the door for easy transport in and out. If the trashcan is full the door catches on the top, not allowing it to open entirly and forces it to close.
Seeming as though it takes you a few times to even initiate the opening action, it could be a disconnect between your receiver and your unit. If you had it perfessionally installed receintly get them to come back and re-install the wiring system.
And, even though it may sound a bit obvious, make sure that everything is plugged in completely to include the action box at the top of your garage.
Good luck and please rate my solution accordingly.

Don

One thing you can try doing is going to a hardware store of some sort like Home Depot or Lowes and look for some thin nylon washers that will fit over the bolts holding your frame together. Get enough of them to cover each assembly point on the frame (i.e: where the legs attach to the frame and where the spring attaches to the frame.) Disassemble the frame and place a washer between the metal parts, isolating them from each other. I'm not sure where you're stationed, so I don't know what type of hardware stores you might have access to. These washers are very cheap and almost sure to fix your problem. And thank you for your service. Stay safe!

Check the large stud or pin that is in the door frame, this is called the NADER pin, it may be out of line with the latch. The latch may be sprung also.
Technically no. You can buy just a new mattress, but some of the damage done to mattresses ie the indentations are caused by insufficient frame support. So check your frame to make sure it's in good condition with nothing broken.
