What does it do? Any sounds, smells? What happened when you noticed it wasn't working?

The sound become beet? We need a little more detail. Look in the owner's manual and tell us what is error e9.

The fuser is not warming up.
On that machine under the web there is a thermal fuse on a white plastic mount, it has one screw through it.
It is most likely blown. Possibly caused by a jammed paper in the fuser.
That fusable link needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: My NEC NW 652 washing machine is showing an E9 fault

E9 means the waterlevel sensor is defective or the pipe connected to it is faulty.

This error is related to the pressure sensor

check connections or replce pressure sensor

Check at the water source end of the hose and make sure the filter is not occluded. Both hot and cold. more likely the cold side as the hot water may disolve the particles more easily.

If all else seems good you will have to replace the sensor

Here's a solution I've gotten from one of the experts..

"Clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is normally behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!"

Hope this helps.. Good luck! :)

What does E9 mean - it showed up after about 4 years?

Let's GUESS it is a Samsung or a Sharp!

What does the E9 code mean? This code indicates that there has been a leakage of water from the tank into the drip pan. If the pressure switch detects a 4-time drop in water in the tank, the machine will stop working and the code E9 will be displayed.

My washing machine is a Sharp Ess119 model, come out with E9 and doesn't work, can assist?

E9 error code means pressure sensor failure. This sensor is used to know water level in the tub. The problem with the sensor requires a part replacement. IF under warranty have it serviced by a factory authorized service tech.

My NEC NW 652 washing machine is showing an E9 fault. When I hit the power button the E9 message appears?

Sounds like the water level pressure sensor is not working. The code (E9) means the switch is open.

You'll need to replace the pressure switch. Check the manual for the repair procedures.
