Can i reset code OE manualy? - Washing Machines

OE error code indicates that the washer is unable to drain the water it used during the wash cycle. OE can be triggered by a kinked drain hose or a clogged drain pump filter..... please clean drain hose back side of washing machine.. Thank you

It says Contact service center if you removed the water filter and the error is still coming up.
They refuse to give a better answer than just to let it be repaired by them.

There may be a few different reasons why the OE error code can display on your washing machine. Is it the LG washer getting the OE error code? The OE error code on the LG washing machine display is an indication of a NO DRAIN issue. The 3 issues that may cause this fault code is a bent drain hose, the drain pump filter is blocked, or the drain pump may have foreign objects lodged in it making it unable to drain. All these issues can cause your LG washer to display the error code OE. With all these different reasons, checking all 3 components will clear the error and fix your LG washing machine.

You're probably going to have to replace that case-brake assembly (sensor level assembly).

OE error code is an Outlet Error.

That has to do with the drain itself. It can come up when the unit is draining slowly, it has nothing to do with water-level really. I would suggest makign sure that your drain hose is not crimped / crushed / or obstructed first before going onto other problems.

If you washer has an LE error code it usually means the washer has not reached the proper water level.


OE also has to do with the water level.

Possible this is relative of a poor drain time which means a clogged draining pump and system. So it si best to remove and clean the drain pump/filter and reset.
check if the machine drain hose is connected to a outlet which is not clogged when the water is flushed out . Also the washing machine must be slightly tilted to drain to the pump to reduce the drain timing.
Finally check if the machine was overloaded to produce a strain on the motor so as to give an error. If so shut down remove plug remove load , check if the agitator is jammed and reset.

The code OE is a draining error. The washer has sensed that the water has not completely drained all of the water within 10 minutes and will display this error code.

1. Locate your drain pump access door on the front of the machine.
2. Clean out the filter area.

If you are unable to resolve the issue by cleaning, I would recommend replacing the drain pump.

You will need to leave the key on for at least 1 hour for the radio to reset, then you will see code displayed,you must then enter your code, this code should be on a card in the glovebox with the owner manualy.read the manualy on how to enter the code, if you cant find your code the dealer must be called and they will help you to get the code,they will have you hold buttons to get numbers then those numbers they transfer into the code. hope this is helpfulNOTE; you should be a battery charger so battery doesnt go dead within the hour of leaving the key on.
