You need the radio model & serial number, and the car VIN. Then contact Honda and, with proof of ownership, they will give you the magic code. To get the radio model & serial, you may need to remove the radio physically. You can find instructions on eBay for about $5 -- well worth it and not nearly as difficult as one might think.

call 1888mitsu2001, choose option #4, then hit * (star). give the
operator the last 8 numbers in your vin and they will provide the radio
code for FREE!
DO NOT PAY FOR THE CODE ONLINE OR GO TO THE DEALER (they will also charge you).
- you will also need to provide the serial and part number of your radio
(takes about 5 minutes to take apart an eclipse dash...1 screw in the
bottom of the HVAC panel) if you call the 1888mitsu2001 it will provide
basic instructions on how to accomplish this.
- if your radio says "off" (meaning you entered the wrong code too many
times) you need to put your key in the ignition and turn it to ACC mode
for approx. 45min - 1hr and then your radio will say "code" at which
point you can enter the code to unlock the radio.

To unlock it , leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.
It could be up to 24 hours...but normally only an hour or two.
SOURCE: radio won't work, display says error code 3 enter
to reset this disconnect your positive and negative cables and hold them together for 30 secondes and enter your radio code into your audio unit using you presets for am/fm. if you do not have your radio code you will need to see the dealer to remove the radio and obtain the serial numer for it.
Note: Should you lose your radio security cards, contact your Jaguar Dealer, who for security reasons will require proof of vehicle ownership.
I hope this info helps!
