Page 9 of the manual says it goes into Bluetooth Search when you power it on, so get your phone searching and then power the radio on. Pretty much every Bluetooth unit I have come across needs a button pressed to send out the signal.
I don't like this mention of a 'Hands Free Kit' or that is says 'pairs to *most* mobile phones'.
Bluetooth Features: Built-in Bluetooth technology for hands-free talking and audio streaming Bluetooth Profiles Supported: HFP: Hands Free Profile allows a hands-free car kit to connect to a compatible mobile phone A2DP: Advanced Audio Distribution Profile allows high quality audio to be streamed from an audio device to the car stereo Works with most Bluetooth enabled cell phones Includes a built-in microphone for clear, convenient, distortion-free talking
Boss BV 6656B radio
read the manual first. no really
and look for batteries inside that are dead first. always this FIRST.
a car radio RIGHT, posted to computers, and is NOT.
the Radio will have 2 power sources, most times.
1: ignition on.. ACC.
2: memory. (this must go to the car battery , hot full time wire in harness)and fused
if not wired right this will fail.
boy finding the install manual is a pain on this BOSS, users manual is useless, for that.. zero facts there but click rules..
what does Grill system mean,? google shows Zero hits. why use that word, dash? mounted, you mean?
it has a remote so remove its battery if they are weak
any remote on earth can go NUTS, (low battery worse of all)
ok you can remove all power to the car radio, all wires, power.
then wait overnite and try it then. (a level 1 reset on any thing electronic if batteries inside those out too)
most car radios have no battery, but BOSS id never guess.
the power button on the RAD has long press mode. use that?
>3sec long. it states.
the yellow wire is memory wire, remove that to reset radio.
red wire is ACC./IGN on wire main power remove both to reset radio.
I think i covered all ways to fix this problem..
remove power
replaced remote batteries first. as is the case always, first.
Try having the device(cellphone.etc..) hooked up to auxillary on its end.. then play music or whatever..then plug the stereo end in and try changing source then.. maybe the unit isnt switching because it doesnt think theres a reason to.. not kidding.. Ive seen this kindve stuff all the time from electronics..theyre so smart theyre stupid. Hoefully this works:)
in your boss amplifire system hardware problem in u try to mute and volume button please check aux port also if found no output sound then go boss service station there are some hardware problem
You have to turn the AUX on. Hit the source button till the radio goes in to standby mode. then press and hold the menu button.. toggle through till you find the AUX option, and set it to on. After that you should be able to just use the source button to select AUX
Hi there
hold down the source button to turn off the unit (unit must be off)
now hold down the function button till it beeps once it has done this press the function button i think 3 or 4 times and you will get a message on your deck unit saying (aux - on,off) turn on and press the source button to turn the unit back on to the CD or radio now press source button2 or 3 times till Aux shows up (press means push it let it go) (hold means don't take your finger off button)
hope this solves your problem
The aux or auxiliary is used for external audio source (ipods, portable mp3 player, etc) If you are watchig dvd movies, the sound should come from the dvd and not from aux.
