What is the squiggly line button for on the keyboard

The sharp sign (#) is Shift + 3 on all standard QWERTY keyboards. and if you are referring to ~ being the little squiggly line, that is to the left of the 1 key on standard QWERT keyboards. If you have a DVORAK keyboard you will need to look elsewhere for documentation.

Do you have a button there for putting the car in winter drive? all wheel drive? something to do with the rear end? The squiggly lines means traction, or lack of, and the wrench means fix it. And the triangle means it is on. So there must be a switch someplace next to the shifter that turns something on, having to do with the rear end. Check it out.
