THE UNIT DOES NOT DEHUMIDIFY, MODEL HD456E, I SET THE TEMPERATURE TO 50 AND IT ALWAYS SHOWS THE WORD "LO" AND WILL NOT RUN, UNIT HAS LESS THAN 200 HRS. WHAT DO I DO? unit was purchased at menards...

You are setting the temperature to low. Dehumidifiers do not work well between 40 - 60 degrees F. That's why the word "LO" keeps showing up. Raise the temperature setting and set the humidity extraction level (Arrow Down) at 30-32%. In fact, if you can disregard the temperature setting and the unit will work, do so. That seems to be the fly in the ointment, when it comes to getting everything to work as it should.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Kenmore Dehumidifier 129-25803, Pump System malfunction

I also have a Kenmore pump system 129-25803 but I do not have the manual. I have tried to find one online but to no luck. I also called the Sears Parts & Service and they do not have a listing for this type of dehumidifier. Just wondering if you have a manual you could share? Please email me at [email protected]
