The AE or E1 error code indicates a possible leak from the unit. This is most often caused by excessive suds overflowing into the base of the dishwasher.

The AE error is indicative that there is a leak somewhere in the washer and it has triggered the flood protection device found at the bottom of the machine. What you should do is find out if there is indeed a leak. Try tilting it forward and find out if water will run out. If you can see water leaking from the water, call a repairman!
The FE error or fault code indicates that the washer is overfilling due to a defective water inlet valve. The valve is not repairable and will need to be replaced.
Error AE means that the machine has detected a leak in the base of the washer. The anti flood device has detected the water and its displaying the error AE.
Unplug the washer and remove the back panel of the washer. Check for any stagnant water present in the base of the washer. If no water is present then check for the anti flood sensor and any disconnected wires.
