I did some research on YouTube troubleshooting and it seem like the T-con board would probably fix it. While I was replacing the T-con board I disconnected and reconnected the ribbon cables to that board and seemed to have made the problem worse. Now I have a new board installed and I can hear the audio but the whole picture is distorted. I am trying to determine if it is the LED buffer panel which I am told it is not cost-effective to replace. If anyone knows how to be sure that it is the LED panel please let me know. Thank you! Stuart

it is due to poor focusing please check 1 set with focus control fitted on flyback transformer, 2 check focus control wire comes to crt base is loose or some foreign material deposited on it. 3 crt base loose contact. 4 if tv is old then there is a possibility of crt is getting weak. if you are not a technical person do not open set as tv has very high voltage inside. hope this will help.

Hi,
I hope not but:
this is probably a failure from the screen or the electronic parts that control the videosignals.
i think having a specialist or the tecnical service from vizio taking a look at it will be best and safest.
Hope this is helpful, and greetings,
Olivier.
