My Philip TV 32PFL3506/F7 will not turn on following a power outage.

Typically it does this for about 30 minutes then will respond when the power button is pressed. It has been off for almost 24 hours now. It is plugged into a surge protector but I have tried the outlet directly and all of the recommended "reset" suggestions. ???? UPDATE: Solved. I found a similar issue and did one of the suggestions: unplug for at least 1 minute, press power button, plug in and release power button. Came on instantly. Thanks!

SOURCE: power outage=shut down

You do not say your location- so this may not be relevant to you. If in UK - check the power cord fuse. If it is a model that relies on an external power supply- try to find anther of the same specification. Other than that presume it has died

SOURCE: no power

Unplug the tv press power on and plug it back in.
some of these units have a reset clearly marked on the back.
connect direct to wall as the surge protector may now have issue.

SOURCE: power outage then wont turn on

contact the power company to see what they will do for you they are responsible for power damage also the surge protection should have replacement warranty. may just be blow caps but take to a service center to have it looked at better yet have a service person come to your home to look into it.

My phillip tv model number 32pfl3506/f7 won’t turn on, the power button light isn’t turning on either

Is there power to the receptacle it's plugged into?
Is it a GFI receptacle if so has it switched off? It could need resetting.
Are you turning it on at the remote? Try turning it on from the TV itself. Maybe the remote is not operating properly.

No power coming for Philips LCD tv

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and precious time.

Power Outage Problems Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV

try cycling the power (unplug 2 minutes) and plug in and wait 30 seconds and turn back on. if this doesn't work, could have been a surge, your protector should have saved it, but could have been through cable or something. surge protectors will guarantee no damage for several years, check with the manufacturer maybe they'll cover the repair.
