Modern TV sets, including the Vizio models, don't have any headphone jacks. The only audio outputs are the red and white RCA jacks, and the special optical port (used for the sound bar). I recommend buying a cable set that has the red and white RCA plugs on one end and a headphone jack on the other end. You can ask Best Buy or any audio store for it.

After you attach the plugs and can hear the audio through the headphone, you must enter the "Menu" and disconnect the on-board speakers if you wish to listen only on the headphone. Read the user manual to do this.

My Vizio E series 500i-B1 recently got stuck on a white screen and I spent the last two days asking around and ironically all tech and TV repair sites have said they are not offering tech support.

Hello. Well, that's because Vizio offers no tech support even to service centers. I have never encountered a while screen on a Vizio, but my best guess is that the Main board is defective, although it's possible that it's a Timing Control (T Con) board. For part numbers, and possibly parts, go to and enter the model number in the search bar. Hope this helps!

My Vizio e500i-b1 LEDtv went out last night. How can i tell if it's the main board or the tcon board that isn't functioning?

I would verify the voltages on the power supply board first because an improper voltage to a circuit board may make that board look bad.

My vizio e280i-b1 starts up green on custom picture setting but is ok when switched back to standard picture setting. is this normal?

Short answer: no. Does the TV power on with the "V" logo screen? What are your custom picture settings?

How to download manual for model E329-A1

Check your model number. There appears to be no Vizio with that number. If it is a E320-A1, here's the manual: under the support button.

About cordless headphones, can't mute tv and still hear with head phones why

If you have them connected to an ear phone jack, that's why! If you have the wireless head set connected to the Audio Out jack in the rear of the set then all you do is turn the volume down. On a lot of models the mute circuitry is before any inputs therefor when mute is activated, all audio is muted. So try and just lowering the volume to 0, that will not effect the jacks in the rear.

I have new RCA model VHP141 Headphones but will not work with my new Vizio TV. Where do I plug them in the TV?

Visio might not have a headphone jacks at all! Look around your set and, probably you won't find jack marked as headphone. You might need to use wireless headphones, what have an rca plugs and connect them to audio monitor out on your tv set.
Good luck!
