SOURCE: Washer LG Model WD-8013F Noisy & vibrates badfly when spinning

Hi,
I had same problem, the bowl is supported by (2) large springs from the top & two telescoping shock absorbers underneath.
I inverted the machine, found a large hollow retaining plastic bolt had falled out of the shock absorber, causing the bowl to be out of balance & the drive belt to be missaligned.
I reinstated the plastic retaining pin/bolt then tried the machine again.
Now the damn thing refuses to wash or spin.
I'm not happy.

SOURCE: washing machine not spinning or draining water

its your drain pump if you can hear it humming but no water is draining it is blocked or jammed by a foriegn object (most probably a 20 cent coin or bobby pin/s), if you can hear it working as normal but still no water it may have a blockage sumwhere along the drain pipe either that or the impellor has snapped off the shaft and is ratteling around and not actually turning, and with the spin that is directly related to yor drain pump issue as the washer will not even attempt to spin if water remains in the tub, incredibly easy to do hit me back if you want detailed instructions

LG Fuzzy Logic 5.5 kgs top loader washing machine.

Question edited for clarity, add maker.

They are a funny little machine. The disc in the bottom is the agitator. My first thought was that you weren't locking the lid down properly, but if it spins, you are. Unfortunately, it sounds broken.

Why is it that my LG machine shakes violently while it's rinsing? Is it supposed to be like that please?

Question 2 also edited for clarity, 'LG' not 'lg'.
No model details again.

Surely not during 'Rinse' cycle? That just adds water and gently tumbles to get the soap out and complete the washing by further agitating the clothes. You must mean during spinning and much depends on if it is a front loader, or a top loader. For both, machine not level front to back and left to right and / or not sitting firmly on all 4 feet.

Top loader, bulky load unevenly loaded.

Front loader, single bulky item causing an uneven load.

My LG wf_t7050tp top loader washing machine drum not turning during wash/rinse cycle

The drum is controlled by a breaking system at the bottom of it. It is the agitator in the center that does most of the work during wash and rinse. The drum would spin very fast during spin cycle.

Check if the solenoid for brake control is working. Check that the drive belt is not sagged. It should be tensioned correctly.

Iv'e got a LG Top loader.WF-T755A. When it spins the drum shakes violently and move the washing machine around . It also makes a loud noise while doing it. What is wrong please?

The load is off balance. Instead of being evenly spread out along the drum, your laundry is bunched up on one side. Try smaller loads to allow the clothes to move more freely in the water.

It only wash & don't spin? Then it stops and leak water by the door....

LG Washer & Dryer 7 (WD12331AD)
Its is a direct drive front loader with 7kg capacity for washing and 3.5kg capacity for drying.

when new
thats 7 kg with wet clothes and water
and only 3.5 kg wet clothes to dry

the older it gets the less weight it can wash and dry

worn motor or drum overload if it doesnt want to spin at all

leak at the door . replace the door seal ..is a most common fix

extra info
It has 9 preset settings, 400 - 1200 RPM, 5 temperature settings, digital display and delayed start timer.

I have an LG model WF-T7015TP Turbodrum top-loader automatic washing machine. Having problem in that the drum does not agitate to and fro during the washing cucle. It's draining fine and even spin-drying...

check the agitator module unit and the start capacitor both in the back of the control panel One controls the agitation and the other starts the motor. If the start capacitor is failed simply replace it with a new one The agitator module will cost more . Have an appliance electrician check it out.

Machine does not drain and spin at end of cicle It is a LG top loader washing machine model R852

Your motor clutch is bad. That controls on the motor along with the timer on a washer from going to spin or agitate.

LG Intellowasher cannot complete spin cycle.

Unplug power cable, remove top cover and inner panel, locate water level sensor on the right with 3 wires and a thin tube, remove the tube and puff into it until you hear water bubbling. This will clear any blockage caused by suds build up. Replace tube, covers and plug back in. It should complete cycles now.
