Question about Vizio Televison & Video

Open Question

My Vizio P502ui-b1e tv has no backlight and no picture. When I turn the tv on the white indicator light turns on then slowly fades off and nothing on the screen.

I tested presence of 5v on Power board. There is no 5v voltage put out there. Should it get a signal from somewhere else to turn 5v on? How do I test the power board alone without hooking it to the tv?

Those sets use LED backlights and the lights are driven to max luminosity. The individual LED failures cause the whole unit to cease

I have a Vizio p502ui-b1e that I believe was hit by lightning during a storm. The light at the bottom right comes on then flashes but there is no backlight and no picture. I'm not sure if my issues are the...

This is unfortunately a not uncommon problem that others have told me about and Vizio only advised them to buy another television.

Struck by lightning is highly unlikely.

I replaced the Main Board, Power Supply Board, LED Driver Board, And T-Con Board on my Vizio P502UI-B1E 50" TV. It is still stuck in a Reboot Cycle. What else can I try?

After the main board replacement, in most cases, a firmware update is necessary. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Firmware (Software) update procedure of many popular brand TVs and other devices are given in detail.

Vizio e322ar won't turn on

My Vizio E322AR White Vizio Light comes on when plugged in, then slowly fades to "Off". I unplugged and replugged - same. I held down the power botton on the side, and plugged in... same. Vizio light comes on (White) and over 5 seconds or so... fades out to nothing.
Remote doesn't do anything, buttons on the side don't do anything.
Going to pull the back off and look for bad Capacitors, and test fuzes for continuity. Wish me luck ... will report back later with results.
