Check the seal strip has been removed from the cartridge.
Check there is nothing obscuring the laser scanner window (usually located in the top of the cartridge chamber)

SOURCE: Printer prints blank on paper

Open the door half way through a page print and pull out toner cartridge. The page should be in the toner cartridige. If you can see the printed image then the fuser is the problem if you see nothing then the toner is bad or has a protective sleeve inside that needs to be pulled out from one of the ends.

SOURCE: HP LaserJet P3005 printer prints wrinkled paper

2 reasons:
1. Was there a paper jam prior to this problem? It could be that the paper was pulled out and a small bit of it is stuck on the pins that guide the paper from the heat roller. If no torn jammed paper prior to this issue, then check out 2.

2. the heater/roller is damaged and needs to be replaced. I would suggest you take it to your nearest HP dealer to properly diagnose this for you. This would save you unnecessary cost in trying to pull it apart and causing more damage to it.

Good Luck,

HP laserjet p3005 it was working ok as we don=ont change the settings often. From yesterday, as soon as we give a print command, it gives a message "LOAD TRAY 1 LIGHT LETTER, then when we press green...

This is a settings problem, you will need to go through the paper handling menu on the printer and on your computer to ensure they are set to the correct paper size that you are trying to print on.

Getting blank print outs with one base line printed of symboles and letters mixed in Hp laserjet P3005.

The two most common problems that cause this are:

1. bad cabling. Check and make sure cables are properly seated and try a different cable if you have one.

2. wrong or corrupted print driver, try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the printer.

Jam inside top cover 13.05.00 also change fuser assembly

To remove paper jam. Just remove the toner cartridge and pullout jammed paper. If still coming paper jammed error message. Switch of the printer and the printer will roll over the paper jammed.

Changing of fuser drum is required if the print out came with the black strips. This happens when you print large volume of printing jobs.

Verticle lines printing on laser printer

Check the fuser. If it is the fuser, you should be seeing 3 dark lines on the fuser film. Here is the picture about how the film looks like:
d0e1b68.jpg

Changing the film usually solve the problem. However changing the film itself is difficult. You have to remove and basically disasseble the fuser, and change the film. However it is fairly cheap and if you decide you would like to save some money, here is the link available in ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Fuser-Film-Sleeve-HP-LaserJet-P3005-RM1-3740-/250558576965?cmd=ViewItem&pt=BI_Toner&hash=item3a56747945

Or, simply search for 'P3005 Fuser Film' and you will find a lot.

Other than that, you can change the entire fuser. Please note that fuser for P3005 is not consumer installable part. You still have to take out some parts in order to change the fuser.

The parts are available from many parts supplier. Simply google 'P3005 fuser'. Usually around $100 for a refurbished fuser.

You can also recycle your old fuser and get some moeny! (about $15-$25 per fuser).

Good luck!

HP P3005 - skid marks along paper's edge

Print 3 pages. Use the manual feed tray. As they print, open the cover, remove the toner and look down at the paper in the printer. Do you see marks along the edge? If no...replace the fuser. If yes...it could be the transfer roller.
