The standalone DB Configuration seems simple but can be tricky When you configure the DB you have to use a Coded Username for the AdminSuperuser permissions "admprm$pm"! this user name makes your actual Log in username "Admin" you cannot use the admprm$pm at the Log in screen. Same with the Public User Permissions "pubprm$pm" gives read permissions but log in user name is "Public" Try the "Admin/Public" usernames if this does not work you may have to Uninstall and Reinstall.
