Here is a site for ColorWheel replacement, which is what you need to do if you hear that screeching or fan running noise coming from your TV. Sometimes the wheel just explodes which gives you no picture.

SOURCE: Monitor flashes black and white rapidly like a

The easiest way to check this problem out is take your monitor over to someone who has a computer or if you have an extra computer at home hook the monitor up to see if it stops doing this. Then you will know if it is not the monitor. Then you can focus on the video card going bad or is bad. Change the card with a new one, problem is solved. Check the cables connections make sure they are not loose as well. Restart you computer also discharge it by pushing in the power button in while the computer is unplugged from the wall. John

I have a Toshiba PDP50X3 TV. When I push power button the screen keeps flashing white like a strobe light but it won't power on.

LEDs in the panel are bad. It is almost impossible to repair this. If under warranty, the panel would be replaced. Shop for another TV. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

Remove light governor

I installed my Hunter Ceiling Fan a little over a year ago. A few nights ago my wife told me the lights in the ceiling fan blinked a few times when she turned it on. Over the next few day the problem got much worse. When I turned on the light switch, the lights would not turn on. After a few minutes the lights would begin to flash, like a strobe light. This flashing would last for about a minute.
This morning I removed the light kit. I noticed the watt regulator, part 98480-02. I connected the wires directly that were wired through the regulator. So far, the light now works fine!

Vizio screen flashing

ok when mine did that i shut it off then on then off then on again four times then unpluged it and plugged it back in and waited for a few minutes and it was fine if that don't work then its most likely an internal problem and it would have to be fixed by a professional

Samsung tv model LNS3241DX flickers

I'm not sure of a jumper wire to cut, but one of the first things is to clean out the dust that has accumulated on the electronics. You can blow out the back with compressed air or disassemble the TV case and dust it. Sometimes a layer of dust can cause excessive heat to build and shut off any type of overload circuit. Good luck!

Thers 4 wires to connect 1 red 1 black 1 white and

Well, if there are no color lights on this strobe effect, a fairly standard color code for AC is Black is HOT White is Neutral, no insulation is ground and Red would power your strobe ( I Think )., I would hate to misinform you. Is this an AC powered strobe? Like when you wire up a ceiling fan you have the same color code. I'm sorry I can't help you further, and messing with live AC can be unsettling.
