SOURCE: WHAT IS THE LOAD CAPCITY SIZE OF WASHER MODEL 110.20702990

On newer, and sometimes a little newer, Whirlpool and Kenmore (Kenmore is made by Whirlpool) considers a few things in determing capacity. Most of the inner baskets are the same size, but they also add in agitator action into the mix. A Kenmore with an auger top agitator would have higher capacity than a Kenmore with just a normal agitator, even though it has the same sized drum. So a super capacity washer would have theoretically less CLEANING CAPACITY than a super capacity plus. The agitator action is actually what determines capacity on these models. So, with that in mind, cubic load should be about the same on both units. Sorry that I had to go into "Bill Nye The Washer Guy" mode, but thats about the only way to describe. Let me know if I can confuse you any more haha. Seriously though, if you need further help or info, write back, and will try to get you some other information. Remember, this theory only works on top load "normal people" washers, not the front loaders.

Sounds like my problem I just had...motor coupler needed replacing. I fit between motor and transmission and if it is broke motor will turn but agitator will not work as coupler is not turning

SOURCE: What is my washer's capacity?

able to find a spec sheet on your specific washer, but i can tell you that you have a whirlpool made kenmore washer. and at 18 yrs ago they have only gotten larger, youd be hard pressed (unles you bought a apt sized machine or a laundry center) to get a smaller capacity machine. new machines are huge in comparison to the oldies

SOURCE: Whirlpool Ultimate Care Heavy Duty Washer will not spin

It sounds like you have a broken motor coupling. This is a very inexpensive and simple repair.

If the washer will fill and drain, but won't agitate or spin, you may have a broken motor coupling. The noise of the motor engaging, lack of agitation and ability to still drain are the usual symptoms. This is a common fail item with this model washer through normal wear and tear. Newer versions of the coupler are more resilient and resist breaking. The following link explains how to replace one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385252-replacing_motor_coupling_whirlpool_top
The motor coupling is located between the drive motor and the transmission and takes the place of a drive belt. They do wear out and can break. The replacement part number is included in the link I provided and is an improved upgraded coupling that is more resilient. It should last longer. If you have questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

A replacement coupler can be purchased on line at appliancepartspros.com for about $11. Just use the part number in the link and "Search by Part Number" for your search criteria.

SOURCE: WHAT IS THE SIZE OF MY WHIRLPOOL WASHER?

We have the same model. We plan to purchase a replacement washer, and tank size is a major factor.

Machine manuals are available at www.whirlpool.com. It's great Whirlpool has the docs available online, but there was no indication of tank volume for this model found in the manuals: Parts, User, Instructions.

I decided to figure it out by filling the washing machine tank manually counting the number gallons of water dumped in. I managed to dump in 23 gallons before risking overflow. I don't recommend this approach since the specified water level limit for the tank assembly may be lower than the perceived water level limit. This volume test was performed on a machine that's being disposed.

Google says 1 US gallon is equivalent to approximately 0.1337 cubic feet. Applying this ratio to the number of gallons poured in, the volume is 3.08 cubic feet. If 24 gallons, then 3.21 cubic feet.

I'm sure the tank is not 4.0 cubic feet since that would have required another 7 gallons of water, beyond the 23 already poured in, making a mess on the floor, and potentially wetting machine wiring and other hardware that should remain dry. Even if we account for the space occupied by the agitator, it's unlikely an additional 7 gallons of water could be added without significant overflow.

4.0 cubic feet is approximately 30 gallons.

We're going on the assumption our LXR9245EQ2 washer is a 3.2 CF machine.

What is the Cu. Ft. Of my kenmore heavy duty plus model 110.87582110

If the exact answer using part number, from Kenmore or whirlpool, a good close answer can be found as

https://www.whirlpool.com › blog › washers-and-dryers › large-capacity-dryers.html
Large Capacity Dryers | Whirlpool

Most standard dryers offer between 5.0 and 7.0 cubic feet of capacity. To help translate cubic footage into real-life laundry loads, consider that a 7.0 cu. ft. dryer can usually fit about 9-15 full-sized bath towels per load. Exact capacity varies by model so be sure to check the manufacturer's recommendations.

What is the size for whirlpool estate model ETW4400Q0

I can't find an ETW44ooQ0. Most Whirlpool model numbers have 3 letters, 4 numbers, 2 letters and a number. I did find a Whirlpool Estate washer, ETW4400WQ0, with a 3.2 cu. ft capacity. See the specifications here: http://www.estateappliances.com/shopping/Specs.asp?Model=ETW4400WQ&Appliance=10100&BaseModel=ETW4400WQ&SpecModelNo=ETW4400WQ .

I hope this helps. Please check your model number if this isn't the right model and add a comment correcting the model number for additional information.

Cannot find the model number on my Whirlpool washing machine. It is a top loading machine, with such features as: 4 Load size, 4 Tempature settings, 8 cycles, 4 speed combinations, commercial quality....

If this was a scratch and dent model, model number may have been removed prior to sale. If not, you should find it on the back edge of the washer at the very top as you look over the back of the machine. If you can't find a model number, bring the part(s) you need to a servicer. They may be common parts or there may be some identifying numbers on the parts themselves. Good luck.

What is the capaity of 2005 Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer, models 110?

Starting in early 2002, the capacity sizes were changed around a little bit. A normal sized washer now all have the same sized tubs (pretty much) in the 110 series (Whirlpool Manufactured) washers. The capacity is now rated somewhat by the agitator action the washer comes with. Depending on the type of agitator you have, will determine the capacity. King size capacity means you have a pretty good capacity (size wise) than others. You have normal capacity, large capacity, super capacity, king capacity, and I even think they have canyon (yes canyon) capacity. Capacity sizes dont really mean to much though. In order for you clothes to get clean, the must have room in the tub to move. The must be able to float up, then get pulled down by agitator action. That should determine the size of what goes in the washer. Always use same type clothing when doing laundry (i.e. towels with towels, sheets with sheets, etc, this will keep the load balanced better). Watch what you load, comforters are ok (per manufactures ok) but I do not tlike the idea unless its a front loader, and only by itself. Let me know if this helps you out any.
