How to reset a defy upright freezer - Freezers

Call the engineer back, it is not fixed. It is still leaking or there is another issue like the thermostat or the circulation fan.

If not a matter of door being left slightly open or hot food being inserted or freezer recently being activated, one pursues other possibilities:

unplug it and wait 10 min, then plug in. That may reset it.
If not, observe the flashes of the light as it may be giving you a code to lookup. - like it will flash 3 times, pause, then flash 5 times, then pause longer, the repeat.]

Really not enough info. Could be a number of things from a fan not working in auto defrost model to compressor problems

That info. is stamped on the product information tag usually found on a sticky tag or riveted to the frame up front.

Check for proper door closure or internal light function first
Next, check temp. control settings. If all checks ok, call a tech. to fix it

If unit is not in a controlled environment yes temp will be confused and will take 24 hour to correct but if outside temp is changed it will do again and again all units designed for controlled temp room not outside in garage or out buildings with no heat or cooling controled room
