MANY OF NEW PUMPS COST ALMOST HALF OF A NEW DISHWASHER. IF OLD SUGGEST BUY NEW. ALSO SOME MOTORS HAVE PLASTIC SHAFT AND PROBLEM COULD BE REPETITIVE.

SOURCE: dishwasher leaks after I cleaned the air pump

If your dishwasher is Leaking check the following

Dishwasher Not Leveled

This is a very common reason for a leaking dishwasher especially if this was a new installation. The framing in a dishwasher is made up of mostly thin sheet metal, so if it is not sitting flat and level things can get distorted very easily. Watch the video on leveling your dishwasher

Door Seal

This is not very common in most dishwashers. To check this look for rips and distortion of the seal. If it is ripped or distorted you will need to replace.

Dispenser Seal

This is a more common place for a leak to develop. This is easy to check, remove the front panel and carefully inspect around the seal for water dripping or stainage. If any is found replace the dispenser gasket.

Water Inlet Valve

Usually it is the connection to the water inlet valve that ends up leaking. Check this connection ( there is usually some sort of adaptor between the valve and supply hose) for leaks. Check the connection on the back of the water inlet valve also. Ocassionaly a water inlet valve will leak around the solenoid in this case replace the inlet valve water

Drain / Circulating Pump

Some dishwashers have separate drain and circulating pump. Some use one pump to serve both purposes. In either case you will need to check the housings for leaks along with all the connections. Some dishwashers have a seal that leaks down into the pump . This is easy and inexpensive to replace.

Door Latch

The door latched can become loose or misalinged. Check both the striker and the latch. To adjust the latch you will need to remove the front panel and adjust switch until properly aligned.

Door Hinges

They can cause problems, but this usually only happens from opening a heavy load of dishes on the door. Occassionaly a broken spring or cable occurs. You will need to remove the toe kick and maybe the front panel to inspect.

Dishwasher is humming when turned on like pump noise but not starting the program

the first thing any dishwasher does is drain, so if its humming instead of the normal noise there will be a piece of glass or something similar stuck in the drain pump it will need to be removed and cleaned out

Beko dishwasher not draining

Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.
Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Hello my beko dishwasher keeps on pumping out even when it is empty of water. i think it happened after the first rinse it pumps constently i havepoured water through it the outlet is not blocked it just...

I have just had this problem with my Beko dishwasher. Mine was running the pump constantly, I tried the tipping method which did reset a switch, and the machine would start to work properly then go back to just pumping again.
I tipped the machine up(lots of water came out) and took the bottom cover off which has a float and a switch in it. This switch stops the water flowing so not to flood your room when there is a leak within the machine. Now I had a good look around for split pipes etc and found that there was a pipe that had popped off completely, I put the pipe back on with a new clip and now it’s as good as new!

Beko dishwasher 3731 not draining out all the water

Check if the drain hose is free first, if the drain lines are notblocked, then there is need to remove the drain pump and clean the hosein there, or replace the pump.
To check the pump there is need to remove a panel held with screws, there the pump must be removed and cleaned, a lot of water willcome out when removing the pump.
The job should be done by a technician.

Beko Freestanding Dishwasher

Hi there ....this condition is ususally caused by a water leak into the sump of the dishwasher which activates a safety switch to run the drain pump..preventing the appliance from being used....Remedy...tip the dishwasher back in the head allowing excess water to exit from the sump...then with the door open check that the air vent lock ring is secure, thet the salt unit retaining ring is secure..and finally that the filter unit to base screws are secure...this done re-start and you should b fine
