I purchased a tcl smart tv model L55p3cus When i try to login to a website i get error code : -202 Netflix and youtube work normally I found on the web a firmware version v8-s586t02-lf1v299 while my system runs the version ending with 159 is it an update for the same firmware?? Is it safe to update manually?

Hook up the external to your USB port and copy everything over. I had to do that when I installed a larger hard drive in my PS3

Try logging in as administrator in safe mode if you have not tried that already. Some of the newer spyware/malware has been disabling admin accounts and wiping out recovery points. I battled some spyware last week like that.
When you get into safe mode are you only getting in as a guest or are you able to get in as another user?

When this happens you need to perform a hard reset of the Blu-ray player, i.e. turn it off then on at the wall.

You should then be able to access internet@tv once the Blu-ray player has been reset.

Unfortunately this seems to happen quite regularly - I guess we need to wait for another firmware update to provide a proper fix!
