The hdmi cord must be connected to your tv and the other device. Your tv should recognize this immediately. When plugging in new cords. Unplug tv first. This will help it to reset itself.

Hi.. I have recently acquired one of these and it won't recognise the HDMI with a PS4 attached to it. I'm guessing it's something to do with 720hd and 1080hd. Is there somthing available to make them compatible?

SOURCE: How to connect BLU-RAY DVD player to Pioneer Plasma TV via HDMI

The best possible solution to your problem is :
Connect your blu ray player directly to the HDMI input of you Plasma and watch HD video....
and connect the 5.1/7.1 sound thru the optical or the coaxial link directly to your AVR 3805.
You will not loose anything on the Blu-Ray.
The sound is best processsed by the AVR3805, while the video, which is the real upgrade (BluRay) in terms of resolution of picture would be processed by your plasma.

Connect and Enjoy

Hello. You have to go into your Display Settings, in your HP Laptop, and chose the Dual Screen/Monitor Setting & make sure you check the "Extend my Windows Desktop onto this Monitor" Box. If you are trying to view your Internet Browser on your TV - you will need to Click on and Drag your Browser to the Right... of off your Laptop Screen and onto your TV Screen. This will take care of your problem!

If the tv has normal stereo outputs, you will use those. if it only has a digital output, your best option will be to buy a new receiver.

SOURCE: displays error code cec100.

CEC100 is a system by which many devices connected via HDMI may control one another. The error message indicates that one or more devices do not support this protocol. In this case, I venture a guess that the error message is appearing because your TV does not support the CEC100 protocol. It should not prevent the machine from playing, it is simply is notifying you of a communication failure.

My source button not working trying to get sky on

There should be buttons on the TV itself to try if your remote is not working. My guess is that SkyeTV comes into the TV through a HDMI cable, so look for HDMI input as source, not "Skye."

How do you enable the pioneer plasma pdp ro6fe HDMI settings? My HDMI input options do not currently allow selection & adustment

just plug in the HDMI cable from what ever equipment your using, then switch it on, put the other end into the back of the tv, take out any scart cables you have plugged in, just for now.
then find your AV source button on your remote, press it until it says HDMI.
the chances are,if it flickers or wont show, then you'll need to hook up the external equipment by scart cable & go into the picture settings & change it to a lower rez. (The tv wont be the problem)
i can't help you any more because you haven't said what it is your trying to do or hook up.....SKY BOX, DVD PLAYER, GAMES CONSOLE...e.t.c.
Or what make of TV it is.....

Pioneer elite 2006 50" tv How can I change from

You can't change the resolution on the television itself. You change the resolution on whatever you have connected to the television. Let's say it's a cable box or a blu ray player you've got connected to the television. First off you have to connect it to the television with a component (green, blue, red, white, red) cable or an hdmi cable. Then you make sure it is only connected to the television with either a component cable or an hdmi cable. This may sound ridiculous but there are some people that have their cable boxes and blu ray players connected to their televisions three different ways ( an hdmi cable, a composite cable, and a component cable) when they only need to have it connected one way.
Select the proper input on the television. Set the cable box or blu ray player's resolution to 1080i or 1080p (in the case of the blu ray player if it the tv will allow it).

No hdmi funktion to my new LED TV.

Most likely the output from the Pioneer is not compatible with the TV.
Try resetting the output by holding Stop (on the pioneers front) and press the Open/close button. This will reset the output signal. Also, if the harddrive in the Pioneer is defect, the HDMI signal will not output.
