Zanussi ZWF1431 Washing Machine starting smokeing now wont turn on what would i need two replace

You have a bad Drain Pump! It needs replacing. Unplug the machine first, Drain all the water out.

if the pump seems to work, check outlet hose for blockage/check pump filter as well

id check the motor brushes first,........costs about £11 to replace....

zanussi zwx1605w. i have lost my manuel and cant washing machine to start?

almost certainly the door interlock faulty. fairly cheap part and easy to replace.
remove plastic clamp holding door boot to cabinet and peel back in the area of the door interlock. door lock is held in by 2 screws from outside which undo and withdraw lock. disconect electrical plug and small diameter tube at bottom. fitting new one is just the reverse

check the drain hole when you start the machine if the water is coming back out , if yes that means your dump valve is bad.

i had a similar problem with a zanussi machine
a cheap bracelet got washed with some clothes and it found its way into the drum housing jamming the drum.

it may have been cheap to fix, but i just got rid of it cos it was 4 years old anyway

i now have a zanussi ZWF1231W just past its 1 wear warranty that has just died completely except for an "on indicator light"
the store inform me that i will have to pay the zanussi engineer a Euro 90 call out charge, plus labour costs, plus parts if needed.

im a little bit disappointed with zanussi to say the least

Check the filter is not blocked it sounds as if it cannot drain in the time allowd at end of wash cycle. Regards Advisor
