Do a little research to find out if it has a T-Con board. If not, it's most likely the main board. Find either board on ebay and search for a video on you tube to see how to replace it.

SOURCE: my ws-55311 shows blue screen on all inputs except the DTV input

This set has 3 hidden menus accessed with a different 4 digit number code----You need the Mitsubishi remote to enter.

One of them is the Option menu which will allow a hard reset of the TV back to factory original---98% of the time it will restore all inputs--cures all sorts of odd problems.

If you have that remote and want to try it let me know for sure the model number and I will give you a link to the instructions for doing it.

SOURCE: Insignia TV picture not working but sound is. Flashlight test picture so assumed backlights. Replaced the board for the lights but is still not working. Model ns-50d550na15 part numbers 170452 172770.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

SOURCE: Samsung UN46EH5300FXZA audio but no video. Passed flashlight test. Replaced main board with 2 boards from different sources. Both boards BN94-06711J were my functional.

I would count your losses and replace the TV.

Samsung un60fh6200fxza will not show picture but has audio

The board that you replaced is responsible for digitizing all of the data so that it appears on screen. But you do see a picture with the flashlight - The inverter board is responsible for lighting up the backlighting so you can see the image. I would go for that based on what you have noticed.

Hi, I just read what you have posted on my LCD TV troubleshooting guide, it does not sound like bad T-CON board because you do not get the sound, you disconnected the main T-CON connector from the main board and get the glowing screen but you still do not hae sound.
In the LCD TV, you can discoonect the backlights inverter board power cables (cables from power supply to the backlights inverter board), and the T-CON board cables from the the main board to the T-CON, you should still get the sound since there are no feedback singals from the T-CON or from the backlights inverter boards to tell the main board that they are bad or not.
If you are 100% sure that you do not have sound on all the input modes then I would suspect the main board problem.
At least the backlights ineverter is good.
Do you get the 12v at the T-CON board surface mounted fuse?

My Tv wont turn on LG 327000

If you are still getting audio coming through then there is possibly a problem with the backlights. This could either be a problem with the power supply or the inverter board. You would need a multi-meter to check if you have 24 volts being supplied to the inverter stage. If you have a backlight tester then this would isolate if the problem is faulty backlights. If you can see some resemblence of light on the screen then your problem will be with the main board not processing the signal, try different inputs eg. an RGB source or scart source to see if there is any image showing.
