Trailer Wiring Cheat Sheet

Hello all,

For those of you that have or occasionally borrow trailers and look at the wiring plugs with disdain (I mean face it they don't make sense, grd is white, +12vdc is black, etc), this is for you.

Plug Types/Application
7 Way - RV Trailers, Horse and Utility Trailers
6 Way - Horse, Stock and Utility
4 Way - Utility Trailers

Columns are: Color, Function, Mark on the plug.

Seven wire Trailer plugs:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:

White = Ground - 1
Blue = Electric Brakes - 2
Brown = Tail and clearance lights - 3
Black = Battery, aux power - 4
Yellow = Left turn/Brake - 5
Green = Right turn Brake - 6
Orange or Purple (not both) = Auxilliary or Reverse - 7

Recreational Vehicle:
White = Ground - 1
Blue = Electric Brakes - 2
Green = Tail and clearance lights - 3
Black = Battery, aux power - 4
Red = Left turn/Brake - 5
Brown = Right turn Brake - 6
Yellow = Auxilliary or Reverse - 7

Six wire trailer plugs:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:
White = Ground - GD
Yellow = Left turn/Brake -LT
Green = Right turn Brake -RT
Brown = Tail and clearance lights - TM
Red or Black (not both) = Battery, aux power - A
Blue = Electric Brakes - S

Recreational Vehicle: (color, use, plug mark)
White = Ground - GD
Brown = Right turn Brake - RT
Green = Tail and clearance lights -TM
Black = Battery, aux power - A
Red = Left turn/Brake - LT
Blue = Electric Brakes - S

Four wire plugs:
White = Ground
Yellow = Left turn/Brake
Green = Right turn Brake
Brown = Tail and clearance lights

Ground should be 10ga.
Others 14 ga

Asics vs. Saucony.I've worn Saucony shoes for past few years and absolutely loved them. My physiotherapist convinced me to get into Asics a couple of months ago as he felt they were better suited to my...

I have just switched from Saucony to Asics myself. I've always run in the Grid Omni series which is along the same lines stability wise as the Asics 2000 series I think.
But I have had two rounds of stress fractures in my left medial tibia (last one was training and running Philly this past fall).
Been doing lots of physio etc. and I decided to change shoes. I researched alot through discussion groups etc. and thought the 2130's might be good to try. I went to my running store and the owner who is super knowledgeable had me try a few pairs and she thought I rolled in less with the 1120's and a lift in the left shoe. My right leg never causes me trouble unless I try a more stable shoe. (I tried the Omni ultimates and ended up with IT band issues). Anyway, the 1120's with the lift seem to be ok so far. But I am only doing 5K treadmill runs at the moment, Can't tell yet if my shin is going to complain or not.

May you help me? I want to know the original number of Engine support, this support is like a "little bone". I thank you

There are two engine mounts, one on each end of the engine, called "dog bones" as they are shaped like bones. You can buy them new at any parts store or on ebay. Same parts fit most all saturn 1.9L 4 cylinder cars from 92-99 which all have the same basic engine. There is also another mount on the top of the engine to the left, and one on the bottom right side under the transmission. The dog bones can be replaced easily, but the other two require some thought as the engine must be supported and lifted independent of the car.

My tub on my dyer has quit working-where is the belt located and it is hard to change??

first you nead to unplug the dryer.next you nead to remove the lint filter and remove the two screws that are under it.now grab the top on both sides and pull it forward and up.roll top back and let it lay on back wall.look between the drum and the frount panal and remove the two 5/16 screws one on both sides.next pull the frount panal forward 6"and pull up on the frount panal.rotate the frount panal and let it rest on the side of the dryer.you do not nead to remove the wires from the door switch.next look under dryer drum and you should see the old belt.remove the belt.next place the new belt over top of drum,next with your left hand grab the frount top of the drum and lift it about 2"and with your right hand grab the drum belt and feed it under the drum.2/3 the way back.next lay down in frount of dryer and look under the drum.you will see that the idler assembly neads to be reinastaled in the slot in frount of motor.with your right hand hold the idler assembly and with your left hand you nead to feed the drum belt thrugh the idler assembly and over the moter pully.next you nead to replace the frount panal to the two clips one on each side at the bottom.next with your left hand push back on the drum and with your right hand push the frount panal forward and set the drum with the frount panal and replace the two 5/16 screws.next lower the top panal and replace the two screws and the lint filter.plug the dryer in and test unit out.
