Yes they can. They have no regulation the must follow irt pets. Bad for some of us with large dogs. Only way u can defeat a size limit is if its a service dog

Yes, rental is a private business and the complex has rules in place for a reason. You must consider others in the complex, not everyone likes dogs, especially large ones.

Testimonial: "It's not a complex it's an apartment building that has all kinds of dogs in it some big and some small"

What is the best fence I can use for my dog?

First, try to get a fence made from a durable material like aluminum or a wire fence. Of course you will compromise the looks...
don't get a wooden fence unless it is more expensive since big dogs tend to ruin them

When to give dogs their treats

Dogs love their treats! Whether it's a biscuit or a bone, treats are great way to satisfy a dog. Basically, there are different times that dogs can receive their treats. There isn't an exact method to giving dog treats, so it's basically up to you how many times per day or week you give your dog its treat. The most common time for dogs to receive treats is while getting trained. During training, dogs receive treats as a reward for doing what the trainer asks them to do. Another time dogs should receive treats is when you leave the house for the day and they stay alone. Instead of becoming sad and lonely, dogs can actually become excited about you leaving because they know they will get a special treat. Besides these two times, you can also give your dog a treat after it finishes his meal. This way they will be able to finish their meal with a tasty dessert. One thing to make sure is to keep treats on the low. Make sure your dog gets at least 90 percent of his diet from healthy, high quality commercial food.

Does it matter what size toy I give to my dog?

Size is important when it comes to dog toys. Dogs need toys that are not too small (for their size) because then they can swallow it. So when picking out a toy for your dog, make sure it is big enough so it cannot get stuck in their throat.

Can I build my own dog house. I love DIY and the ones in the shops seem really expensive, so I want to give it a try.

Yes you can build your own dog house, but only if you have the tools necessary and a few basic DIY skills particularly with wood. Watch this tutorial on YouTube which gives a really detailed outline of how to build an insulated dog house. Good Luck!

Is it ok to let my dog play with tennis balls? I notice that the fur comes off and the balls are easily ripped apart.

Tennis balls are among the favorite toy for a dog, however the problem is the fur off the ball is very bad for a dogs teeth. The fur eventually comes away from the ball and it wears away the tooth enamel. Also another risk factor is choking. You should give your dog balls that are specifically made for dogs.

It depends on what breed, size and how old your dog is, I found this site that has some good tips about dog food and there is a table which shows how often and how much you need to feed your dog. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/feeding.htm
