I think the problem is in the leds light of the screen they could be shorted.

If you've done the flash light test, it could be the inverter board became defective but it could also be that the power supply does not provide the +24VDC to the back light inverter board.
If you could do the +24VDC test using a voltmeter then we can say for sure that the back light inverter board is defective.

I have a Toshiba, model #49L621U. While watching movie using firestick, screen went black but had sound. Turned it off, back on, unplugged everything to reset. Tried it all. When I turn on TV I have a black screen, no sound but when I turn off TV words Toshiba come up but screen goes black.
Did you ever find a solution? I am currently having this exact issue
I have the exact same issue as listed above. The screen is black but when the TV turns off the Toshiba logo comes on the screen for a quick moment. Have you found a solution to the problem?
