1) It could be that the washing machine drum has collected greasy residue from previous loads. Try cleaning the drum by running an empty cycle with a cupful of white vinegar.

2) Or could be the bearings. When bearings are on the way out they leave streaky dark marks on the clothes.

SOURCE: Noise at end of spin cycle

Sounds like the drive block is defective. The drive bloce is a aluminum part that attaches the drun to the gearcase. If you remove the agitator you will see a large nut on top of the basket. If the drive block is worn yo will see aluminum peices on top. It is very simle to relace. You will need a spanner wrench to remove the nut. With the nut removed lift the spin basket up and out. Remove the block. You will see that the new block will only fit on one way. Tap it down untill it will not go any further, replace the basket, make sure you tighten the nut securly replace the agitator and you will be back washing.

SOURCE: noise/not draining on spin cycle

I had that problem and it was the drain pump trying to drain but it coulsn't because it had lint, plastic, 3 underwires a looney some costume jewellery stuck in the pump. By the pump underneath you'll see a black plastic boot leading away from the pump. disconnect this and inside you'll find the lint trap and if you dig you'll probably find the culprit that stopping your pump from moving. Put it all back together and Voila!

SOURCE: Zanussi ZJD1219 Washer/Dryer - noisy spin and dirty spots

Sounds like the main drum bearings have failed, and the marks on clothes are probably grease spots from the main bearings.
It is quite an involved repair, and not one that I would recommend you tackle yourself unless you are competent to do so,as it really is involved.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Load noise and will not spin out clothes

Good Morning PJ, this is AP with Electrolux.

Thank you for submitting your question concerning your Frigidaire front load washer, ATF6000ES. Typically if your washer is making a banging noise it could mean one or two problems, but primarily the tub is off balance or your washer is not level. In this regard, since the tub is spinning it would be advisable to reach out to a local service provider to properly diagnose your washer. You can often locate a qualified tech through the manufacturer website.

Hi, I have an AEG 72630 Update machine, its been very noisy for a while on spin cycle but now is making a rattling noise & is leaving black spots on clothes, could it be bearings??

Yes this is the bearings, they have completely collapsed and the oil is leaking out onto your clothes. You will need a new tub rear and that is around £120 plus labour. Sorry its not better news.

Washer makes clicking noise when tub rotates

ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo_PDF/Webster/5995522231.pdf here is apart break down of your unit. if you scroll down to pg 10 you see the inner baket assy, chances are youve snapped parts(14)which screw into (15). perhaps you found a broken screwhead inside the tub after laundry was done? id remove the agitator screw down the shaft and it will be quite apparent
