Check the owners manual or manufacturers website for error codes. Most likely cause...a bad control board. You tube will most likely have "how to replace" videos for your assistance.

SOURCE: my affinity frigidaire dryer keeps flashing an E9E error code

The error code E9E indicates that low voltage is being detected at the control board of the dryer.

This could be caused by the following factors:

* The electrical power supply to the dryer is bad. Check the dryer outlet for proper voltage (120 volts AC).

* Unplug the dryer and check the wiring of the dryer outlet plug. A loose wire on the terminal block could cause this problem.

* If you are able to safely access the control board in the console, check the red wire that connects to the heater relay on the board.

(NOTE: The dryer should always be unplugged when accessing internal components.)
A loose wire or burned connection in this area could result in this error code.

* A failed control board could cause this problem.

What does error code E56 mean?

That error is an E5b error. This indicates a problem with the heating element, the thermistor or the control board. You'll need to unplug the unit and access the wiring. Inspect the heating coil for breaks. Then test the voltage across the element (should see the line voltage) and check the resistance at the thermistor (should be ~50000 Ohms in a room temperature environment). If the above are okay, your control board is probably bad.

If you post a comment with the model number, I may be able to point you the appropriate parts. If your dryer is under warranty, contact Frigidaire.

I hope this helps.

Fridgidaire affinity faqe7011kwo no heat error code E5b any suggestions?

Good Afternoon Rich Quezada, thanks for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer, FAQE7011KW0, is not heating properly. It could be a possible problem with your heater or thermostat. I would also recommend checking your vent to assure that there is no restrictions or blockage within the vents. This could also cause an issue with your dryer not heating properly. If you continue to have issue with your dryer I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a diagnosis and repair on your dryer. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Frigidaire Affinity dryer error code?

you have a problem with the heat you can't just say it's the element or thermistor you have to unplug it,take it apart and get in there with a meter and check all the t-stats,element thermistor,if they check good you could have a bad computer board but hopefully it will be the element but if you just bought it the dryer is still under warranty for the first year so either call whoever you bought it from or the 800 number off of the machine
