SOURCE: krups water level problem

I have the Krups FMF5 Gives a 'low water alarm' when it's full of water. Take a cheap multimeter from Wal-mart find which themal fuse on the heating element doesn't have continuity. Should be two of them on the unit, one on each side of the silver 'U' shaped element, They are covered in a white sleeve, with a metal retainer holding it to the element. They connect to the power wires White one and Black one going to the element. Mine was a SEFUSE rated for 214 degrees C, Less than $2.00 at Radio Shack I replaced it with a 226 degree C rated SEFUSE which is better than removing it entirely. (it is a safety fuse) I reused the old crimps holding it to the wires, Don't know if solder would hold up. Works like a charm.

SOURCE: Full water indicator lit continuously even though

Problem was a stuck float in the small water reservoir to the rear left of the unit.. Remove top and left hand side panel. Small reservoir can be seen at the bottom left. Remove small screw and slide off the cable assembly above. You should then see into the reservoir and the float. Clean float and reservoir and reassemble.

SOURCE: Hello, My Krups coffee maker keeps flashing the no

It sounds like the water sensor has gone out, that is probably causing a short that is preventing the pot from tuning on. If the sensor is not bad then it is probably a short in the circuit board itself. You will need to contact krups to have it replaced under warranty. If it's not under warranty then check with a small appliance shop for an estimate, however in most cases it is just cheaper to scrap it and buy a new coffee pot.

SOURCE: When I pour water into (empty) pot to fill. Bunn coffee maker

If you pour water into the machine, and water comes out, then the reservoir is full of water. There is no way the water can bypass the reservoir and go directly into the pot.

How do I disable the low water warning on a Krups coffee maker?

Locate the float in the tank that is no longer floating and jam something plastic underneath it so that it will communicate to the float sensor that there is water in the tank.

Why doesn't Krups FME214/86B coffee maker turn on?

sounds like a loose internal connection, best left to pro but if you can remove the bottom panel you should be able to id the culpret. If its in the top portion (depends on where you tap it) it's a lot of work to get into that area.

I have a Krups FME2 coffee machine and when I fill it up with water, the screen shows that the water reservoir is empty? What the heck?

If there is a water level float in the tank it may be no longer floating, if you can shove a piece of plastic under it to lift it up that should trigger it to think it now has water.

It says the water reservoir has not been filled even when there is water in it. I'm unable to make coffee and keep getting this error signal.

The thermal cutoff fuse is bad. Fuse is located on the side of the heating element. No continuity will indicate failed switch. replace as assembly with heating element.

Error message states no water, but there is...

Unplug the device and plug back in after 1 min. If it still fails, then you have a dirty water level sensor or the control circuit board is fried. Empty the water out and fill it with vinegar as full as you can without overflowing. Let it soak overnight and turn the machine on (without coffee in it). Turn off after 30 secs.Turn on again and allow it to finish the cycle.  Discard the vinegar. Run three more brewing cycles with water only and it will be OK to use. If this does not cure it, then the only cost effective way is to replace it.
