Do a factory reset to your set, and then re-tune it. The user manual of your set will have details about tuning.
There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the sites linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts.

SOURCE: need an instruction manual for an AWA DP602 5.1 dvd player for connection to a fujitsu plasma screen. will i be able to get TV channels programmed into the DVD?

IF YOU HAVE CONNECTED THE DVD PLAYER VIA COMPOSITE, COMPONENT, OR HDMI CABLES YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE REMOTE FOR THE TV AND PRESS THE SOURCE OR INPUT BUTTON TO CYCLE THROUGH THE INPUTS UNTIL YOU FIND THE ONE THAT YOU CONNECTED THE DVD TO. IF YOUR REMOTE DOES NOT HAVE THESE BUTTONS YOU CAN GO INTO THE MENU SCREEN OF THE TV AND PERFORM THE SAME THING USING THE MENU CHOICES.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. IF MORE ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED POST A COMMENT TO THIS SOLUTION AND I WILL TRY AGAIN.

SOURCE: not getting all cable channels?

Please post the model number of your TV. You have to get to the menu to reprogram the TV channels for cable vs on air. Sometimes pushing two buttons at the same time on the TV itself will get you into the menu mode. If you use Google and search for your modeel number and "manual" you might get some help there.

SOURCE: can not get hd channels on my new tv..

First of all, digital/HD signals are broadcast at UHF frequencies. You need to know if you have an UHF antenna and, if you do, that it is pointed to the TV stations broadcasting HD.

Second, since most TV's have a setup mode that automatically searches for channels that are able to be received, go to that "Setup" menu on your TV and start the auto search. It will list both analog and digital stations. Note that the analog channel may be, for instance, Channel 39 but the digital channel will be Channel 39-1. Tune to the "dash 1" channel.

SOURCE: how do I unlock the tv's settings?

you should be able to go into your menu options. under channel set up. there should be an add or remove channel option and if your set has a locking feature it should be right in there that you'll find the unlock feature, Other than that, if you dont find it really the only other locking feature would be in your menu, under the parental control setting, this is another way to block and unblock channels as well, good luck. feel free to ask me any other questions you have!

My television set is stuck on one channel....the audio changes with the channel but the picture stays blurred on one channel...whats wrong with it?

Lots of possibilities. If you are using the remote, try also using buttons on the TV to change channels. If TV buttons work, the remote is broken or perhaps try changing batteries and cleaning battery contacts on the remote. If neither work, lots of other things to try. You may need to set preselect channels, so your TV thinks there is only one channel out there until you do. If you are on a cable box you just need channel 3 and change channels on the cable box. I can't tell what you mean by "audio changes with the channel" ... if you mean that when you try to advance channels, it increases volume and moving down in channels lowers volume that would be strange -- if you are using a programable remote it might not be set correctly (try another programming code). The "blurred" picture is probably symptomatic of having the set on the wrong channel, and if you could set channel it might clear up ... I'd start with getting channels to change. If you need more help, give the brand and model of TV, say if you are using a remote (original or programable), and what the 'audio changes' comment means in more detail. Probably worst case is that your tuner circuit is fried, but don't assume that without more diagnostic.

I don't know how to set the tv to receive all of the channels

Enter the "menu" and select auto program. This will allow the set to search for all available channels. There is also a possibility that when you hooked it up the little wire center conductor in the cable might have been bent over when you hooked it up. Check that first.

Could you tell me why the tv insignia channels swich fron 2 to 3 channel, and the tv value is going up and down by itself? Because I"m not able to watch my programs. Can You help with this?

if you have set top box ,go to main menu ,check on restore factory settings ,put in default password 0000 and press ok,restarting the set top box automatically, waiting for some minutes.

restarting starts scanning all channels one by one and put them on their respective location in channel store.

now ,enjoy with all channels.

same process is done with tv if u have't any set top box ,only RF input from ur cable operator.

Can i get regular tv

To get local over the air channels, you will need to connect an antenna as your signal source instead of Cable on the back of the set. Then you will have to go into the TV menu for signal source and select the Antenna/air option. Then you will have to go to the auto program/scan menu and scan in the stations. This may take a few minutes.
Now you can watch local stations for free.
I believe the FCC "must carry" rule require cable to carry local stations also.

TV won't "talk" with satellite cable

Try to see if you have 5volts for your EEPROM. If the voltage is normal try to replace your EEPROM or try to reprogram it. Your EEPROM is corrupted so that's why it will not store data.
