Do a factory reset to your set, and then re-tune it. The user manual of your set will have details about tuning.
There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the sites linked here. IF YOU HAVE CONNECTED THE DVD PLAYER VIA COMPOSITE, COMPONENT, OR HDMI CABLES YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE REMOTE FOR THE TV AND PRESS THE SOURCE OR INPUT BUTTON TO CYCLE THROUGH THE INPUTS UNTIL YOU FIND THE ONE THAT YOU CONNECTED THE DVD TO. IF YOUR REMOTE DOES NOT HAVE THESE BUTTONS YOU CAN GO INTO THE MENU SCREEN OF THE TV AND PERFORM THE SAME THING USING THE MENU CHOICES.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. IF MORE ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED POST A COMMENT TO THIS SOLUTION AND I WILL TRY AGAIN.
SOURCE: not getting all cable channels?
Please post the model number of your TV. You have to get to the menu to reprogram the TV channels for cable vs on air. Sometimes pushing two buttons at the same time on the TV itself will get you into the menu mode. If you use Google and search for your modeel number and "manual" you might get some help there.
SOURCE: can not get hd channels on my new tv..
First of all, digital/HD signals are broadcast at UHF frequencies. You need to know if you have an UHF antenna and, if you do, that it is pointed to the TV stations broadcasting HD.
Second, since most TV's have a setup mode that automatically searches for channels that are able to be received, go to that "Setup" menu on your TV and start the auto search. It will list both analog and digital stations. Note that the analog channel may be, for instance, Channel 39 but the digital channel will be Channel 39-1. Tune to the "dash 1" channel.
SOURCE: how do I unlock the tv's settings?
you should be able to go into your menu options. under channel set up. there should be an add or remove channel option and if your set has a locking feature it should be right in there that you'll find the unlock feature, Other than that, if you dont find it really the only other locking feature would be in your menu, under the parental control setting, this is another way to block and unblock channels as well, good luck. feel free to ask me any other questions you have!
