F05 fault after replacing brushes

F05 - NTC failure (SC/OC)
All appliances managed by the electronics measure the temperature using a thermistors. These thermistors changes resistance depending on the temperature. There are two kinds of thermistors, NTC and PTC.
NTC has a negative temperature coefficient which means that with increasing temperature the resistance decreasing (used in washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, refrigerator....etc).
PTC has a positive temperature coefficient which means that with increasing temperature the resistance increasing (used in oven, refrigerator for starting compressor...etc).
If you look in the table below, it is clear that the resistance value of 100 ohm means that is NTC faulty. So, I really do not understand how it is possible that the resistance increases with temperature?

Resistance of NTC depending on temperature
0 °C 35.9 kohm
30 °C 9.8 kohm
40 °C 6.6 kohm
50 °C 4.6 kohm
60 °C 3.2 kohm
70 °C 2.3 kohm
95 °C 1.1 kohm

Error F05 on my awod as147 steam washing maching

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
F05 for Whirlpool washers decodes as 'NTC failure'. NTC stands for Negative Temperature Co-efficient and all that means is the water temperature sensor ;-0)
I have heard that occasionally it can be brought back to life by pouring in a few kettles of hot water into the washer, leaving for 10 minutes, spinning the water out and re-trying. If it doesn't work it means a service call. Sorry ;-0(
Good luck,
John C.

Wt960p hotpoint

The error F05 indicates that the pressure switch is jammed on full.

The only thing you can do your self is to check the filter is not blocked.
Remove lower rear panel of washer, locate and remove large black hose fatened to bottom of tub, watch out for water running out.
Remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.
Refit filter and hose, test for leaks.
If problem still persists, then could be faulty pressure switch or blockage in the pressure system.

Let me know if you require any firther info.
Pleas rate my solution.
Thanks.
