10 meq of potassium chloride is equal to how many mg of potassium carbonate

10 meq on potassium chloride is equal to 750mg of potassium chloride. This can't be directly converted to potassium carbonate because the salts yield different physical weights.

What causes low potassium in men

A man rarely develops a potassium deficiency as a result of inadequate dietary intake of potassium, although it is possible. Most potassium deficiencies occur as a result of long-term use of diuretics, laxatives and steroids. Chronic vomiting and diarrhea also can cause a potassium deficiency in men. Chronic kidney diseases can lead to hypokalemia, as well.

Low potassium diet

High potassium food: potatoes, bananas, whole grains, milk, and tomato products. Low potassium food: berries, squash, corn, rice, poultry, fish and non-dairy substitutes. To lower potassium levels in potattoes, cut them into tiny pieces, soak them in water, then drain off (discard) the water.
