The main oven door has devoloped a terrible squeak whenever opened or closed. Can I get to the hinges easily to apply oil??

I would have gone straight through Neff. If it can't be fixed, your'e supposed to get a new oven out of the deal.

When you open your door you will see a flat bar that slides into the door while opening and closing. It is located between the two door hinges. There is a rubber on the door where the flat bar slides in and out, remove that rubber and you will see little rollers in the door, those rollers need to be oiled, preferably with engine oil. Oil the rollers and work the doors back and forth, the noise should abate.

Best option is a silicone lubricant spray from Radio Shack or Maplins depending which country you are in

It is clean and easy to apply and works its way into the hinge.

Also it does not smell of oil

I had a similar problem and tried simlar fixes. Spraying the chain, the rollers, the track with silicon based lubricant did not good for my problem. My wife then listened carefully from where the squeak was coming. It was coming from the hinged in the actual door, the hinge like parts that allow the door to roll up. After we sprayed all of them, the sound just went back to the normal electrical / mechanical sound of the door opening and closing. I am sure our neighbors are happy too after 6 months of (very) early openings. Hope this helps. 

Place a hammer handle between the door and the frame at the hinge location.
Carefully apply pressure on the door to push the door closed.
This will often re-set range door hinges.

its not the hinge,,its the sping in the hinge,,you have to replace it,,,be careful with ludes on stove...onthejob

good old 3 in 1 oil or olive oil if none, if problem still there could be wear on hinge

This comment applies to most electric ovens that have drop down doors with hinges at the bottom.
The hinges are not adjustable, and in every case the problem is caused by one or both hinge springs being weak.
The only solution, is to replace both oven door hinges together.
