Make sure that the flame sensor is clean. You can clean them with emory cloth. If it continues, then the flame sensor will need to be replaced. There could also be a problem with the thermal lockout, which means the circuit is stuck closed. It's a safety switch that is designed as a protection from fire if it overheats. Hope this answers your question. Good luck.
Check the thermocouple
SOURCE: pilotlight will not light, getting spark, but no propane.
make sure you have the gas valve knob on turned to pilot while pressing that down while pushing the spark it should light or it is tripped on a safety like rollout switch or oxygen depletion sensor if equipped which all ventless heaters are
SOURCE: Laars Lite 2 LG - pilot light will not stay lit.
It sounds like a thermocouple has gone bad. this is a very common problem with gas powered things ie; water heaters, furnaces, hot tubs. The telltale sign is when you release the pilot light button it won't stay lit. This is a safety feature and is relatively inexpensive and easy to repair.
SOURCE: Have Model CGP30TB Copmfort Glow propane
sounds like an obstruction in pilot assembly.try using canned compressed air to blow directly into pilot. this technique is successful about 70%. if not, pilot assembly must be removed and cleaned thorougly
SOURCE: COMFORT GLOW PROPANE HEATER, THE PILOT LIGHT WILL NOT IGNITE
i vacuumed the line out, i taped the angle adapterso there was only a little bit showing and stuck it on the pilot hole for 3 minutes (I turned the gas off) and it fixed it
SOURCE: dyna glo tag along propane heater pilot stays on but when turning
sounds like either a bad thermocouple or more likely a pressure regulator problem. should have unit checked by someone familiar with propane systems.
