Can you still buy an AEG LW 1250 Washing machine and if not what is the equivalent ?

you may have blockage in pipe from drawer to tub but more likely the soap drawer is clogged. take it right out and clean thoroughly

Hello, to fix this, what you should do firstly, is remove the machine from it's normal position, and then get a handyman to take off the back cover (which is not recommended by the manufacturer) and get right into the guts of the machine. Once you have found and identified the drum, internally, then open the waterproof cover, and note where are the parts and screws go. Keep digging the inside up until you ahave reached the bra wire. Alternatively, if the wire is still visivly poking out of the small holes in the drum, pull the wire out with pliers. Good luck! The only way to reset a washing machine is by unplugging the power cord for half an hour or so, then plug it back.
This will drain power from circuits and reset them completely.

If that does not work, then you will need to have the control assembly replaced.
