Hi, my LG LED TV (50lb6300) starts blinking every second after I power it on. Its blinking even when LG logo is displayed. When its blinking, I could see all the image clearly. There is no spotty blackouts. Audio is working fine but video continuously blinks. Please suggest which of these might went bad. Is it a power circuit board or t-con board or led strips.
Ello
My LG TV won't turn on and the red light is static (As It means the TV Is turned off) but when I press the on button on the TV remote the red light slowly dims then goes back to full red then dims then goes back to red and just keeps repeating that till I press the on switch on the TV remote again to turn It off.
This happened out of nowhere I was simply playing on my PS3 and the TV just went off, I actually thought It was the console at first and turned that off from the console, but when I noticed It was the TV I tried turning It back on and got no luck.
I searched online for solution but can't say I found much.
I have tried the following.
Unplugging the power plug from the tower socket I have and then giving It sometime before plugging It back In.
Unplugging the power plug from the actual TV and giving It sometime before plugging It back In.
The first thing I actually did was take the power plug out of the socket and left It over night and throughout the day and then tried turning It back on after plugging It back In.
I tried a method I found online which people said actually had results from this. Unplugging the power and then holding the on/off switch on the TV for 30 seconds. This method did nothing either. I also tried this method while the plug was still In the tower too.
My only other option Is to purchase a new TV, which I am fine with doing but I would rather try and fix my current TV before resorting to that.
Thanks
It could be the conection ribbon between the T com and main board remove carefully clean and replace ,it should do the trick if still the same then most likely T -com
Testimonial: "Thanks will check the connection first"
Hi, I tried the following...
1. Disconnected the ribbon cable to t-con and powered on the tv, still seeing the blinking LEDs - so suspected LED issue.
2. Measured the output voltage in all the pins from power supply board to motherboard. All are same as specified in the PCB.
2. Measured the voltage at the LED output pins in the power supply board:
- With led cable connected,
a. middle LED+ pin voltage varies from 135v - 147v
b. edge LED+ pin voltage varies from 135v - 140v
- With led cable disconnected,
a. middle LED+ pin voltage varies from 128v - 147v
b. edge LED+ pin voltage varies from 140v - 160v
Not sure if the power supply is the problem or the led strips.

If the video cuts in and out, chances are the Screen trimpots are not centered correctly in their proper range, relative to each other.
Sony does a balancing act whenever the set is turned on - there is a white line at the bottom of each CRT, and the current drawn on each gun must match the others, at least within a given range. If one is too high or too low or in any way vastly different from the others, the set will not allow images to hit the screen, they will stay blanked indefinitely, until the Screen trimpots are rebalanced correctly.

3 blinks is the error code for the convergence ICs. You need to replace both STK392-110 convergence ICs. You can get replacement ICs at the following link and they provide installation instructions with pictures.

Try unplugging the TV for a few minutes (discharges the ballast/ps) then plug in and attempt to power on. I have the 42P Vizio over two years old and ran into the same problem a few times. First thought was a power supply issue, but the unplugging trick worked. Good luck.
SOURCE: LG 700E monitor's power LED blinking continueously, no display
The monitor is probably on protection.
To start unplug monitor
from power and from computer and test computer with different monitor
to find out if it is monitor or computer fault.
If it is computer fault and no video signal , then test:
If it is monitor fault , then the monitor is on protection.
When on protection you keep having a flashing
led on front of the monitor , and monitor turning off by itself after a while,
that indicates a fault condition.
The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the Monitor goes on protection there are only two possible causes.
1The
internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic
charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read
by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the
protection circuit.
2 The protection circuit detected a wrong
voltage or a broken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in
, starting the flashing light.
If
you are in situation one, then the monitor will reset just unplugging
power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.
If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.
Common
faults
that can occurr are a blown capacitor on power board, faulty inverter
board, faulty input board, or a fault on LCD Digital Controller board.
Check also
the video cable or any external connection cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you
can get same flashing state because of the video cable.
Try moving the video cable, and if the cable is not built in, then also try a replacement cable.
If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual
If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.
