SOURCE: LG direct drive washing machine

generally when a machine gets noisy in spin cycle it is due to bearings being worn open the door with the machine empty and try lifting the the drum upwards if it moves then it will be the bearings

SOURCE: WHAT DOES ERROR CODE IE MEAN ON LG DIRECT DRIVE

IE = Inlet Error. Check for plugged screens where hoses screw onto machine (especially the cold side). Other possibilies are kinked hoses, valve shut off where hose goes to washer, or a bad inlet water valve (the part the hose screws onto), or even a bad control board or bad wire to water valve.

SOURCE: what is the AE error code on LG steam direct drive washing machin

the AE code means that there is water in the base I found that the steam heater element in mine was leaking so after a quick repair using silicon and a good clean after drying the water out of the base it now works again

PS I used to be a washing machine repair engineer! I wouldn't suggest that you start opening up your washing machine!!!!

I have an LG washing machine. It has a PF code. Simple things don't fix it

As LG states in troubleshooting section,
If your unit is displaying a "PF" error code, it means you've experienced a power failure. This may occur if the power supply to the washing machine is interrupted during a cycle from a power outage. To fix this, simply restart the washing cycle

hi Melanie.
this is all i could find out.
If the water won't drain out of your washing machine, either something is stuck in the drain hose or pump, or the pump is broken. Both fixes are simple if you're even just a little bit handy with tools. We're showing the repair on a Maytag washing machine.
How to Drain Washing Machine That Won Drain Family Handyman
What is wrong with a washer that does not spin? If your washer fills with water but doesn't agitate, the problem is likely to be a faulty lid switch, a broken belt, or a problem with the motor. (Note: Direct-drive washing machines do not have belts.) To diagnose the problem, do the following: 1Check the washing machine's spin cycle
