There is a motor under the underside of the microwave these motors can clog up. try turning the motor to by hand a few times so it makes a werring sound. if no sound its the slow gear in the motor broken and will need a new motor fitting.

Panasonic convection nn-cd9975 turntable turns sometimes and not other times.

Most likely a broken turntable drive coupling or a sluggish motor. The coupling has a D shaped hole inside to keep it from Slipping on the shaft, so Try to turn the coupling by hand, if you feel it slip or it is very easy to turn, it is probably a broken coupling.

Panasonic NNA873SB, turntable is no more turning

The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven.

In some brands, you have to cut the motor cover off with snips, then use a screw when reassembling it.

You can order Panasonic parts from Encompass here or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Panasonic nn ct766 turntable locked

If everything cooks as normal but the turntable does not turn then I would say that either the turntable motor has failed or the supply for the motor, either way this is not a problem you could fix yourself & so I would recommend taking to a microwave repair centre or service engineer.

Turn table will not revolve on panasonic microwave

The turntable motor could be bad or the coupler that the turntable sets on could be worn out. The are the two most common failures.

I HAVE A KENWOOD MICROWAVE GT/AL17,THE TURNTABLE HAS STOPED TURNING, ANY ADVICE MANY THANKS. TONY Nr IRRLAND

Two possibilities: either the turntable coupling is broken or the turntable motor has quit. The plastic coupling can wear or crack so it no longer fits properly on the turntable motor shaft. Then even though the motor still turns, the turntable doesn't. Or the motor itself may have stopped working. If the plastic coupling still looks normal and you can't rotate it easily by hand while it's in place, it's probably the motor.

I'm here in the US so I can't suggest where to find parts, but you should be able to locate a supplier who might have replacements available. Of course the oven will still work without the turntable running. You'll have to open the oven occasionally and turn the food yourself to insure even cooking.

Turntable wheel under glass tray broken

If the microwave comes with a roller ring to rotate the glass turntable then I would recommend that it needs to be used when the microwave is operating, as the turntable rotates the food so it can be heated evenly.

I would recommend checking with your local Panasonic repairer he may have access to a new roller or even a second hand one to tide you over.
