I am looking the manual for the kenmore laundry center (stackable) model 970-17802-40. Can you help me?

Frigidaire built that unit for Kenmore, so look at new Frigidaire stacked "Laundry Centers."

Can you provide more information on the year of your stackables and if you have the exact model or serial number, that would be helpful. Thanks.

It could be v-belt driven. The belt may have broke.

oh yukkkkkkkkkk hate working on these stackables. u have to break them apart for most jobs, try googling how to take apart ur brand model and youll get instructions, sorry cant help more

3 year old GE stackable washing machine, had water coming out the top and would not drain or go through cycle, when shut off it drained a little but when turned on again it filled up and over flowed.

Actually what your looking for is printed in the installation manual. There are a few different types of dryers and they all have different installation requirements.

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.


Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
